The basic wealth of us, the Indians, Is ancient scriptures preaching culture and traditions
through several Veda, Sastra, Purana, Kavya and natakas. The palm leaf manuscripts carefully
preserved and protected from ages up to date are a wonder in themselves as repositories of
eternal knowledge and wisdom. These preachings are not confined to any one particular
religion or culture but are equally adored by all, irrespective of their religious persuasions.
With
the idea that such appreciable efforts of such persons should not go waste and that sincere
scholars should not experience difficulties in reconstructing books of this kind, this Trust has
undertaken the project of preparing books on Vedas, sastras, Puranas, kavyas and dramas in
whatever language they were written or published, thereby a distinct Library is maintained.
Ancient Indian libraries were not just repositories of texts; they were sanctuaries of knowledge, where the wisdom of the ages was preserved and passed down through generations, illuminating the path of enlightenment.
